Well, I think I've outgrown my standard humidors. I currently rent an apartment and don't have the option of building any sort of closet humidor.

I've been looking at a few "End Table" style humidors and so far, the one that's remained at the top of my list is CubanCrafters.com's CC-Cabinet Humidor clicky.

I'm not looking for huge 5000 count towers or anything like that.

Does anyone else have some suggestions/experience with "End Table" sized humis that can store a bunch of boxes as well individuals?

Well, if ascetics are not a hang-up for you, search "wineador", or "wine cooler" in this forum. Lots of great info...

Bob Staebell and Arlin Liss are members here. Impossible to get better products than what they build. Do an Internet search for them.

I have an Aristocrat cabinet humidor. Reliable and not too expensive. I purchased it through cheaphumidors.com. About a year ago I put in a "set and forget" humidification system from Bob Staebell. The cabinet works great and I have been very pleased.

Thanks for the info fellas!

I'm just debating on whether to invest in a larger humi or just buy more 150-200 count table top humidors. I don't really think the latter is the way I want to go though...

Aristocrat is a stylish and high quality cabinet that will do the job quite well. I have had a few cabinets. If appearance is not an issue, a cooler with beads outperforms any cabinet.

I've looked at the Aristocrat for a bit and am pretty taken by it.

However, with that added THC system the price skyrockets. I'm planning on ignoring it and just going with a Standard. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Here's the THC System's description: THC SERIES

Bob is "THE" Man! I can't tell you how happy I have been with my Aristocrat cabinet the past five or six years. It is as beautiful as ever.

I was looking at his website the other day just for curiosity and the prices really haven't gone up over the last five years or so?

I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Best money ever spent!

My question was regarding what appears to be the Aristocrat with the Set and Forget Humidifier System vs the Aristocrat THC Setup.

The THC setup seems to have some sort of special cabinet seal as well as some other electronics for condensation and what-not.

Base Aristocrat w/Set and Forget System is just under a grand.

Base Aristocrat w/THC System is more than twice that price.
(I tried not to go too much into detail on prices...)

I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with the THC series I linked above. Either way, the THC price is out of my price range.

If you will be keeping your humidor in a environment were the temperature stays a constant 65-72 degrees year round, just get the set and forget system. With the constant temperature the same you shouldn't need the THC system. You live up north so it shouldn't be a problem. I keep my humidor in a finished basement that stays around 67 - 72 degrees year round and never had a problem. So it would depend on were you are going to put your humidor and what the temperature fluctuations it will go through as the season change.

I hope this helps?
