Yes, I saw the film and rad the book. I think they are both excellent, but I think you need to know what to expect from a movie by the Coen brothers (remember "Fargo"?) The film is very grim--lots of killing. It is also strangely comical (the Josh Brolin character especially). Tommy Lee Jones did an outstanding job as the sheriff and the villain (Chiurgh?--not sure of the spelling)--you are likely to see him in your dreams.

I liked it until the end. Enjoyable, but a bit confusing. As far as the ending is concerned anyway.

Just remember, you find a bag of money in the middle of a bloodbath. Don't go back! Take the friggin money and run for vegas!

I'll take a bad Coen brothers movie any day over a good movie from anyone else. Even if it isn't up there with "Fargo" or "The Big Lebowski" it'll still probably be more interesting than anything else in the multiplex...unless Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises" is playing in the next theater, which probably gives it a run for its money.
