I sent a PIF to HdJ on the 19th and delivery confirmation shows it being delivered on 4/21. He has not seen it. I was really excited about this PIF too, it would have knocked a few things off his wish lists!
If that isn't enough, I sent a package to JWeb on 4/10 that has not made it to him either! This SU&KS!!!!! HdJs can be replaced faiilry easily but JWebs was a box split of some ELs!!!
AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
With the sheer number of packages they handle on a daily basis, I guess it was bound to happen at some point. But why these two, why couldn't it have been a single stick to cross of someone's wish list, or something along those lines?
I just needed to vent.

jlaker, if you are checking delivery status online, does it show being delivered to the home address or to the post office. If it only shows being delivered to the post office, it's probably still there and the post office didn't get around to do a home delivery yet or lost track of home delivery. In that case somebody can call the post office and check on the status of the package. On the other hand, if it shows being delivered to the home address than you can start a claim saying that package wasn't delivered or was delivered to the wrong place. Maybe this will help to locate the packages.

I'll look into that and hopefully that is the case!

This has happened to me, where the delivery person thought the package was not deliverable to the destination, neglects to leave a note, and just leaves it at the post office.
I think we all carry USPS-induced emotional scars!
I've had more than one package - incoming and outgoing both - take up to three weeks to be delivered. They all made it eventually, but there was a lot of nail-biting while we waited.
I'd use FedEx or UPS, but I'm already spending too much on postage...
Yeah, it su<ks...

jlaker, I feel your pain, this is why I only use UPS because of packages lost by USPS, or just plain slow delivery. I had a package delivered from Dallas to Austin one time, it's only 200 miles from each other. The package was mailed out monday morning and I didn't get it until wednesday of next week. Hopefully you'll get your packages delivered man.

That is why I always use a FOR-profit company like UPS or FedEx that is not controlled by our government. I have been living in my house for 7 months now, the one next door has been vacant that long, and my mail ends up thier, go figure.
