I think it's about time they let Goose in. Personally I think Donny Baseball should go, but I'm biased. I grew up idolizing him. Unfortunately, no WS rings will hurt his chances. I think Ryne Sandberg is a lock to get in. Not sure if it will be this year since it's only his 3rd year on the ballot. He is agruably among the top 3 if not the #1 second baseman in the games history.

I never understood the tendency of these guys to make players wait. Are they Hall of fame worthy or are they not? If the argument is for historical perspective, then extend the eligibility wait period from 5 years after retirement to 10.

Lorax, Sandberg and Wade Boggs were inducted this year. Hopefully, Jack Morris and Alan Trammel will get inducted. Morris was the most dominant pitcher in the 80's and Trammel's stats match or exceed some of the shortstops already inducted.
