I had a huge shipment come in this week from C-Bid. I ordered some high end gars and some cheapos.
I have tried a few of the cheapos and they all taste like I paid $1 each, most I will end up giving away to co-workers or golfing buddies that don;t know the difference.
One that I smoked this afternoon stood out from the rest and was a very good tasting-mild cigar. It was the 1876 Reserve that is always being sold on C-Bid. I got them for less than $1 each and it was suprisingly good.
I would definitley recommend this for any noobs like myself wanting to try something different, or anyone wanting to add some decent smokes to their arsenal for a very cheap price.
I'm curious to hear from others who have tried this one (Good or Bad) and maybe some other ideas of hidden gems

Thanks for the recommendation. As a noob I find myself leaning toward milder cigars. Next time I'm on C-Bid I'll pick some. Did you get the Churchill or Robusto?

I got a 5-pack from them a while ago. The first one was packed very loose and burned very quickly. Taste was OK, but I was bothered by the loose pack. I gave three away which were all enjoyed by "seldom-smokers". I smoked the last one and was pleasantly suprized that it was packed tighter and tasted fine. I don't think I'll bid on them again but they do make a good cigar for giving away.
