A 'personally' rolled [at the local shop] L. Jimenes natural robusto with coffee in the morning; a Famous Dominican 1000 natural lonsdale after lunch (a decent daily); and, tonight an AVO maduro belicoso with a glass, or two, of Glenmorangie 'port wood finish' single malt scotch after taking the neigbor's kids for ice cream. All in all, a very good day!

A PSD4 and Lagavulin. Much too chilly in CT for gin and tonic!

A nice smooth Partagas #4 for after dinner, and the late evening after the hockey game, a R&J Churchill.

Sopranos Boss. Lots of flavor and strength without being overwhelmingly powerful. Perfect burn and pleasantly tight draw.

A Davidoff Mellinium Robusto with a overly iced glass of McAllen 12. It's hot as hell here, still about 92 on the back porch. The ceiling fan is working, a slight breeze is blowing and my little friend is sitting next to me...no, not an automatic assault rifle, but an 11# Chihuahua named Tod (Trashy Old Dog).

The Davi is not as good as usual and tastes a bit 'moldy'. I may trade it for a 1926 Padron if it doesnt get any better soon.

My thoughts are rambling about global warming. Since Katrina, the wheather has changed drasticly down here. No winter, a weird hot/cool/hot DRY spring and now early summer. I don't think we have had any significant rain here since about 4 months ago. Also very low humidity...very weird.

I have never given the GW premise much thought, but man I'm starting to wonder.

Ciao!

Well, I trashed the Davi and lit the '26 Padron.
Man what a world of difference. These are the best '26's I have ever had. Actually very full bodied and packed with oodles of fragrant smoke entrails.
