Tonight was the event. It was very nice. Was treated to a really good Ashton aged Maduro and a nice merlot. The rep gave us some dark chocolate and almonds to have with the wine and cigar. Not sure why, but that was about the best cigar I have had in my short cigar life. It was mild to start and gained some at the end. The burn was very even all the way to the end. Can't wait for next event. Is suppose to be a Sumatra tasting.
Well, Ron, look at it this way. If you had taken several sips of wine vinegar before that cigar, do you think you would have enjoyed it so much? There is a connection....
Often when the dog is bugging me for his afternoon walk (when I get my cigar and he gets his exercise) I will go and eat three or four M&Ms to get my mouth ready for the cigar. Works for me!

Thanks Don, I had a nice RyJ 1875 and chocolate covered cherries and it was very good. Did a little test, start with out the cherries, it was strong. Then start to eat some cherries and there was a big difference. Thanks again for the info.
