I appreciate hearing those UNC votes since I'm a big Heels fan, but in the only pool that I completed, I picked Illinois to win it all (over Duke 82-78). Having said that...GO CAROLINA!!!!

It doesn't matter how good Duke really is they could never be as good as Dickie V and the rest hype them up to be. So I always think they are overrated. Not to say they are never good, just always overrated.

Although Coach K is clearly one of the greatest recruiters/coaches in the history of college basketball, and he still has a lot of years to go.

I grew up near Tobacco Road and have been partial to UVA and anyone playing UNC. UNC though is deep and Duke is not. I like Illinois or UNC. Great memory of NC State was of David Thompson, Towe, Burlinson, Rivers, & Stoddard Winning it all in 1975!

Well, I'm an Illinois grad so I'm pulling for them. However, I think they peaked too early in the season and they are DEFINATELY not playing their best ball right now (although they did look a little better today against Nevada). In my pool I actually took them to lose to OK ST in the Elite 8.
