Put the knob creek down and step away.

Huh???
I only can think of only one meaning of the compound word "putzmeister." Reminds me of the scaffolding company I saw in an invoice once called "Erections, Inc."

Thought someone would notice that "putz" is Yiddish, used as is the word "prick." I assumed it had the same meaning in German, but it doesn't. Strange and derogatory name for a American company.

Thought someone would notice the word "putz," taken from Yiddish (and I had mistakenly thought German), a synonym for "prick." Not a very complementary name for a company that does business in the U.S.
