Been looking for a cigar to try that is mild to medium cause thats what I like. I looked at some Padron thousand series and they say they are full flavored. But I see alot on this forum they are a mild to medium strength. Would like to know before I bought one and tried it.

yes the blend is the same, the shape is the only difference. the 6000 is a 40 minute smoke and is the most expensive (torpedo). The real value is the 3000 IMO. I smoke one on a daily basis.

You can not go wrong with Padron. Start with the 3000's. I've never ever been disappointed. Then step up higher in the series to find the size you prefer. Heaven forbid you try the 1964's, your standards will change immediately assuming you liked the thousand series. I have some 1926's waiting in the humidor and haven't tried them just yet. But your can search for many reviews on all Padrons in the forums.

The 1000's series, or the "Padron" series cigars are all Medium flavored.
If you are looking for something in that style, it is a great starting place. I actually like the delicias more than the 3000, but just to be different
If you are looking for something Mild, go for anything with a Connecticut Shade Grown wrapper (I would recommend the Romeo and Julietta line). You might also try the Fuente standard line to see what you prefer there.

Wow...smoked a padron 3k last night, well at least tried to. I don't have that many cigars under my belt, but I did not enjoy it at all. It sat in my humidor unwrapped for about a week but the temp and humidity have been fine. It tasted hot, very peppery. Did not like it. May have been a bad one I dunno. Justin

Sorry to hear that JJ. Keep on trying different cigars, then go back to a Padron after a few months. You may have a different experience the next time.

The 3000 is a great cigar always in my humi. Once you move on to the 64'2 and 26's for me it is hard to go back. But still they are all awesome, never met a padron I did not like.
