Lance has survived so far, looking forward to the Alps now. He has to make his move then and show the world he is still the man.

The anti-doping guys are getting a little carried away with Lance. They want so badly for him to fail, to bad for them, he won't!

This week should be good, with the flat stages and some mountains. Let's see if Lance can hang in there.

Saw this on another site, maybe it won't be lance...

Lance was pretty clear in the interview on Friday. He said, "We ride for the team and the team rides for the leader. When Johann decides who that will be someone one of us will not be happy, but that's the way life is." It sounds like Lance is saying that if his job is support, that's what he'll do.

The question I see is: Will Johann be influenced by his history with Lance and their past successes, or will he see that Contador is the better bet for future and continuing rewards?"

Unless Lance somehow puts some time between himself and Contador the wise decision would probably be to go with Contador. If he doesn't it could cause a storm within Astana that might even cause the sponsor to walk.

The drama within the Astana team is making this one exciting TDF. It's smart that Johann is publicly quiet on this, it keeps the other team guessing a little bit and drama for the press. I think the original intent was to get Lance into Yellow after the TTT. Contador's attack on Lance was unexpected. Kudos to Lance for not attacking back and playing the consumate team mate. Surprising actually considering he is a 7 time TDF winner. Contador is by far Lance's greatest rival for yellow.

The French are jumping over themselves trying to find something....anything on Lance. I've heard that he's being tested at least one sometimes 2-3 times/stage.

Whooo Wooo, finally some hills in the 13th stage, which look strangely like side boobs in the profile map.

Somebody better make a move on the hills as this T de F is quickly turning into T de Boring. No drug scandals, no major crashes, no nothing. Watching paint dry is more interesting.

Sheryl Crow throwing a stick in Lances spokes making him crash and lose...Thats what the TDF needs...

Yep, Friday + this weekend could be the defining part of this year's TdF. We should know soon if Lance intends on being 'De Boss.'

Finally the Alps. This is where we'll see the drama within Astana play out.

Agree with you Steve, as usual, TDF is played out the mountains.

Before Paris there will be a drug scandal or two.

Looks like Haussler from the Cervelo Test Team is going to take this stage solo in the pouring rain, and has been leading for the last 40km. This guy is nuts, barreling down the mountains at over 100km/h in the rain.

Lance is being a lazy ass, just hanging out with the peleton drinking herbal tea. I think his mom needs to get out there with a broom and smack him in the ass.

Mostly with no guard rails. It's an insane race.

And here is a quote from Lance's Twitter feed a few moments ago:

lancearmstrong& big surprise, had antidoping control @ the finish. Keep looking, nothing to find xcept hard work & sacrifice. Never was, never will be.

lancearmstrongSt13 done. Wet and cold. And slightly boring. Can't remember a day this cold in the TdF. Ever. Team was solid and controlled things well.

Yes Lance, it was a boring stage. When do you plan on racing?
