Thoughts on his chances of winning? Or has he already won? The man is a rock star legend in the cycling world, has pretty much thumbed his nose a the press, and is giving his fans exclusive 140 bytes of info on Twitter: http://twitter.com/lancearmstrong
Cor: Steve, you have proven yourself to be a tremendous whack job.
I will be watching and cheering for Lance. Can he do it? I hope so but I am not as confident as I have been in the past. I have been following him on twitter also, he's in a prerace meeting right now.

I read that he is willing to play a supporting role to his team if needed? Regardless, I'll be watching coverage of the Tour for the first time since the early 2000s when Lance was dominating.
Lance is just the best...I mean, look at how 99% of these cyclists have to use steriods and Lance is clean and he wins all the time! Amazing...lmao...dude is one of the best LIARS on the planet. His sport is infested with (like many other pro sports) PED and he has the gall to claim he is doing it naturally...complete and total BS.
False guardian I will compel false as the fear of heaven and hell I should have known its all a mirage just as well

My masking agents are better than your masking agents.
Lance is tested almost weekly for every known illegal PED. Not sure you can get any better than that.

If Alberto contador crashes or for some reason is not team leader I believe that lance has a very good chance to win #8. the only problem is that Alberto is considered the team leader and unless lance gets lucky Alberto is gonna take his 2nd tour win

I followed Lance from waaaay back when he was a kid. I saw him in the (then) first union grand prix in Philly and really was in awe of his talent. He's since become an egomaniac and a bit of a jerk frankly. I'll check in daily to see how he's doing but I don't have any real interest at this point.
RE: Whether or not he dopes. I don't care honestly. I'm sure many others are too which levels the playing field. Its like steroids in the NFL or IFBB.

I usually watch the TDF. The Floyd Landis thing was off putting.
Broke his collarbone, but fully healed. Lance definitely brings a lot of interest and publicity to the tour, which it really needs. Will be great to watch.
A medical report has come out suggesting his cancer treatment somehow improved his body chemistry, and lopping of a nut also released chemicals into his system which helped his endurance and muscle regeneration.
Also someone mused on another social site: "What the hell was he thinking when he dated the Olsen twin?"

I think his only source of testosterone is exogenous. It may mean that he is able to regulate his testosterone levels while his competitors rely on only what they have. Just a theory, I am a surgeon not an endocrinologist
