Oh, and celebs need to keep doing what there good at and stay the phuck out of politics. No one cares what they think. Like someone said earlier, if an artist wants to make a statement, put it in the song. People will either buy it or they won't.

Liberals are often called "Anti-American" because they criticize American policies and hold up foreign, socialist governments as idealized representations of what they want their "America" to be.

For example, Alec Baldwin, Barbara Streisand, and I don't know who else, have often commented that if such-and-such happens (republicans winning elections, certain laws being passed) that they will move to France, or Italy, or wherever.

One of M. Moore's recent diatribes attacked the Italian government for siding with the Bush administration on Iraq -- meaning Italy is guilty by mere association with our government.

If that kind of rhetoric isn't "Anti-American" then what is it? Pro-American? Pro-Socialist?

Doesn't that make Michael Moore anti-American then?

I think Bush is a dolt, but I don't think all republicans are.

Linda Ronstadt is a cow. I'd rather do Michael Moore. He's better looking.

I'm guessing you're referring to my comment about Moore being Anti-american... well, like I said in another post when someone called Moore a liberal... He's not a liberal, he's a socialist. I don't call Dems or liberals anti-American. There are people who are very anti-American who are hiding under the label of liberal but, there is a difference. I say Moore is anti-American because of his comments, which if you'll notice are all made in front of the foreign press. Ex: Americans are stupid.

Two bored casino dealers are waiting at the crap table. A very attractive blonde woman arrived and bet $20,000 on a single roll of the dice.

She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!"

As the dice came to a stop she jumped up and down and squealed... "YES! YES! I WON, I WON!" She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.
The dealers stared at each other dumfounded. Finally, one of them asked,"What did she roll?"
The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."

That if she's dedicating "Desperado" to Moore, she's just calling him an old fool who's never going to get what he wants. She might as well dedicate it to Ralph Nader too. Roll Eyes
