The supreme court ruled that Phillip Morris didn't have to pay a woman 79.5 million dollars in punitive damages. The woman was sueing on behalf of her dead husband who smoked. I'm glad this verdict got overturned, almost 80 million dollars thats absurd. Well, thats why the jury needs to be intsructed properly.

Oh and by the way, Dostoevsky wrote that smoking was unhealthly in Crime And Punishment in 1865. I just think its funny when people say that the public didn't know smoking was bad until like 20 years ago. If,it is known in Russia in 1865, it is known in America in 1987.
