Hi,
a litle quick question.

I have just got box of luis martinez churchill's, they are all in a glass tube with a cork cap. Now I wanted to ask If I should store them in my humidor without takeing them out of the glass tube or should I take them out ?

Thanks in advanced

IMHO, the glass tubes are more for show than anything else. While they do help to protect the smokes from handling damage, they are in your posession and it is really up to you. I would take them off just because in the tubes, they take up more room than they need to.

I agree with TG-the cigars will stabilize better in the humidor out of the tubes.

Doesn't matter. Assuming the tubes are not air-tight, it will not affect the cigars. Tubes take up a little space, so if you are running out of space take them out.

One thing you can do if space is not an issue is to simply keep them in the tubes but remove the stoppers/tops and set them aside. That way, the ambient air in the humidor will freely circulate into the tubes, and if you decide to transport a stick or two or pass one along to a friend you can just put the top back on. This is what I do with any tubos. /MH

Don't forget to let them stabilize in your humi for at least a week!

How about this one, ships from Germany:

A bit more than your budget, but looks pretty snazzy and it is a good brand.
