I have no A/C (temperature here rarely goes above 85F more the 20 days a year). But since it does get warmer than 70 most of the time in summer, and occasionally the basement goes higher than 75, I have created an "emergency" temperature controlled space to put my humidor in. I use a very large cooler (Coleman type), put my humidor at one end and medium Ice-Paks on the other (on a clean, dry cotton towel to absord excess humidity from Ice-Paks) . A thermometer-hygrometer in the middle. You simply have to adjust the number of medium Ice-Paks required to have the right temperature in the humi and rotate them regularly (the Ice-Paks). Other advantage : the humidity in the cooler will be very low.
