I am a member of Metropolitan Cigar Cub in Fairfield. I wouldn't mind setting something up there, if anyone is interested. Also, I'm pretty tight with a lot of people at JR's in Whippany if you need any help there.

I'm not a piney, just a transplant to south of the Ratitan land of low property taxes and affordable housing. We tried to get a Herf together at Ashes in Red Bank (Exit 109 off GSP) I'd like to see an NJ Herf sometime

Hey GasDoc, did they tell you about the Open House? a few of us "pineys" are gonna head up for that lol Bill you too!
I did know about it. Unfortunately, It is my wife's birthday that weekend and we will be at our beach house. I'm sure you will have a great time though. They are a great bunch of guys. Hopefully, we will get to have the NJ get together there. You will see what I mean.

Here is a link to the club's website if you want to get a better idea of what the club looks like: Metropolitan Cigar Club

You guys are certainly welcome to come as my guests to The Metropolitan Society. We are a private, members only, club in Fairfield, NJ. BYOB, order food from local restaurants. We have 4200 sq ft of space with lots to do. Commercial smoke eaters. Open 24/7.
as i stated earlier, i would like to get something together in May.. April will be a busy month for me (ill be thankful if i can make it to that Open House)
However, i figured the open house wouldbe a good ice breaker to meet some other members/botls..
I dont understand why you wouldnt want people to see the Open House Link, Weather it be here or in a different thread. Any possible exposure and future members for the Metro should be looked at as "good" exposure.. I dont know why you'd want to keep it under wraps. As a BOTL, i look forward to more and more people attending HERFS... I like the club, yes, but i look at it as a chance to meet other members and enjoy some good conversation, etc... Thats half the reason most of us smoke/etc..
BTW, Roscoe was the one who told me about the Open House in another Forum..
See you guys there! it will be a blast

I do want people to know about it, and I certainly meant no offense, it's just that many of us have been posting here for a long time and would like to finally meet one another. I think that is the priority of THIS particular thread. People are trying to find a date and place that fits best for the majority of people. There is certainly nothing wrong with suggesting having it at the open house, but then let some other people add some input. There were other dates suggested, and I think it's time to let others chime in on what is best for them. I deleted the other post.
I think a separate thread for the open house is a good idea.
