How often do you need to recharge your beads? I have a 300 ct that I have a 4oz tube in and it seems like I am adding water every week. Should I add another 4oz tube?

How are your cigars? If they feel hard then you may need to add more beads. Does your humidor seal well? A poor seal may mean the humidity is going out. Check by placing a dollar bill on the lip of the humidor. If you can pull it out, the seal is bad.

Another question is whether or not you seasoned your humidor. Also, are you using a digital hygrometer that you have calibrated?

Remember it's getting to the cold, dry season, too...a good humi should balance the effects of the winter dryness, but if it's open a lot, you'll lose the humidity much faster in the winter months...

Thanks everyone, I did the lid test and I am good there. But it is opened 2 to 3 times per day in dry forced air gas heat.
