Just about all of my male friends my age (26) wear cologne, maybe it's an age thing. However, I do think it has more to do with wanting to smell good for the oppposite sex (or the same depending on your preference) rather than liking how you smell.

It could be an age thing, Im 26 as well and lots of guys our age wear "Smell me good" stuff. Wink

usually, I don't wear it, but if we are going out, I wear either Obsession or Safari. They are both pretty subtle, but the wife loves them.

I don't think it's an age thing, I'm 47 and I wear cologne. All my friends wear cologne. I like for my wife to smell nice and I'm sure she wants the same for me.

It's funny how one simple question can turn into a heated debate.

I wear "Pleasrues for Men".

I don't wear it for men.

It's for my wife.

I mean, I wear it for my wife, but it is for men.

If it wasn't for men I wouldn't wear it.

I'm not a homophobe or anything, I really don't mind if guys think I smell good, but it's mainly for my wife.

Maybe like 10% for men and 90% for my wife and other females.

That doesn't make me 10% gay does it?

I don't have anything against gays, I have one as a friend. I just don't wear cologne around him.

Curve, Soul by Curve, or Lucky You... I wear it BECAUSE I WANT TOO! And I can't tell you how many times I have been in a restaurant and the waitress says, "man, you smell good, what are you wearing?" and I'm not talking about the "B" or "C" team boys. You know what I'm talking about....It all comes back to how much you want to take care of yourself. I mean do you really want to be the guy who smokes $10 sticks but uses imposter or NO cologne???

What pisses me off is the dudes that smell like they fell into a vat of it and bathed in the stuff!
Many establishments are going perfume free.

Pmp,

Couldn't agree with you more. Most of the women I know/knew appreciated a man who could cook more then one who smelled like perfume.

From cooking professionally, I stopped using anything with a heavy scent as it throws off the taste buds by interfearing with the sense of smell.

If I were going to go back to a cologne, it would most likely be Grey Flannel.

Actually I wear dolce and gabbana, bulgari blue, and john varvatos. I don't like wearing cologne that everyone else is wearing.

And none of them smell as good as garlic and parmesan.
