Haven't been to the Vegas one, but the others I've been to, are first come first served, and you'd be lucky to get a table back once you leave it to get your food served.
After the New England Sit Down, it would be tough to attend anything else. Over a thousand free cigars handed out. Free raffle. Steve Saka, Perdomo and Cuban Crafters reps. Best of all, $0 charge to get in.

I've been to one LVBS, back in 2001. The evening event was crowded, the lines for food were too long, there was nowhere to sit, it was too warm, the booth give-aways were very poorly handled and the cigar give-away was total chaos.
However, my ticket was for the full weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed the daily sessions, including the Breakfasts, Lunches & seminars. David Savona sat at our table during the Saturday lunch. He handed out some nice cigars and was a pleasure to chat with.
i'll be there again this year, the wife and i had a great time last year.

Yep, we were there last year too. It was great fun. Can't wait until this year's.
Sniper...sorry, I should have been more specific. Part of the full weekend includes a luncheon where every table has someone from the cigar world seated with you. I was hoping by getting my order for tickets in early I would get seated with someone really interesting.
I would love to go but not sure it's in the budget this year. Were planning a tropical getaway this sumer for 7-10 days. Not sure where yet, either the Carribean or South Pacific. When is the LVBS?

I didnt have any problems with the lines. I got food with out really waiting. the Vodka was flowing off the hook. My wife was laughing though at the men going for the cigars....She said it looked like a nordstroms sale for men.

I hope to go for the first time this year. But I'm not sure if I want to stay at the Mandalay Bay...unless it is a lots nicer than is the Paris hotel which I like a lot.

To each his own Ron, but staying at the same hotel as the event has advantages. Also, Mandaly Bay is on the end of the strip...but not too far to walk from Paris I guess. I've never stayed at MB, but the pictures of it look nice...and don't forget Claire will be in the pool.

I just made hotel and airline reservations for Big Smoke Las Vegas 2005. This is the time to get cheap airline & hotel package deals, and to stay right at Paris.
