I really don't understand why you need to drink grey goose or buy any other french product other than perhaps french fries. Vodka, can be purchased from many other countries as good as or better than the french crap. Wine, California has a great selection. Cosmetics- Buy American, many choices. Cars,, hahaahah Women,, bwahahaha What redeeming french product is there out there?? None ...!
want some cheese with that wine? Grey goose is actually an american product, and is now owned by Bacardi. Grey Goose Vodka was actually created and developed by an American, Sidney Frank.

Do you only smoke american cigars too? I guess you must not enjoy Cuban Tobacco either, as Cuba isnt a friend of this country.... Who cares where a product is from, if you like it, indulge.

jadawin.... my sentiment exactly. grey goose hasnt been french in years. and if it were.... i would drink it anyway! it is in many opinions the best vodka out there. i sure think so, and i am a big vodka drinker.
Grey Goose SH.... Might be owned by Americans as stated below but certainly manufactured in France. See letter below:Correction: Grey Goose Vodka is a US Company April 16, 2003
Summary: In our French Products Boycott verification list, Grey Goose Vodka was listed as a French product. Boycott Watch has received the following letter from the manufacturer stating that Grey Goose Vodka is made by a US company.
According to the Boycott Watch standard for the French products boycott, if a product made in the US has a parent company based in France, the product is classified as French.

This note comes from Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the creators, owners and importers of Grey Goose Vodka:
Your very informative site has been brought to our attention. We certainly respect your opinion and encourage you and your readers to support the United States in any reasonable way you choose. Freedom of choice is one of the things that has made this country great.
Capitalism is another thing that has made the United States what it is. Grey Goose Vodka was actually created and developed by an American, Sidney Frank, who saw an opportunity to introduce to America an exquisite vodka. In true American fashion, Sidney Frank had a dream and pursued it. Grey Goose has been designed, developed, marketed, promoted, and advertised by Americans. Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the owner of the Grey Goose brand, is an American company based in New York with more than 150 full-time and 800 part-time employees throughout the United States. Our company owns the Grey Goose production facility.
You may be interested to know that we count among our ranks members of the armed forces, including veterans of World War II and Vietnam. In fact, our President, Mr. Eugene Frank, fought in the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. A recipient of the Bronze Star, he is one of the founders of our company, and we are extremely proud of all he has done for our country as well as our company.
In addition to the many charitable organizations throughout the country which we donate product and money to during the year, in the wake of 9/11, Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc. donated $250,000 to the New York Police & Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund, Inc.
Of course, there is no way that a consumer could know this about our company and its brands. We only hope that consumers realize we did not choose France as the country where we produce Grey Goose because of France's politics. We merely chose it because, with its natural resources, it was able to produce the best vodka the world has to offer, and we want to give Americans the opportunity to have the best if they so choose.
Should you have any questions or need any further information about our company, please do not hesitate to contact me. Like you, we hope and pray for a reasonable and humane solution to this present crisis, and be assured that Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc. has always and will always stand behind the United States.
Very truly yours,
Deirdre Maher Director of Public Relations & Corporate Communications Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc.
Holy Crap! I leave town for a few days and Grey Goose became a target! I'm gonna have to agree with charloods, who cares where it's made. It's great, and it kicks my butt regularly...and it goes well with a cigar. Boycott every country that didn't back us or uses kids to manufacture the clothes you wear, and it'll be really boring around your house. Now, I'm off to smoke a Cusanon 18 Churchilll - they probably used a 12 year old homeless boy during production who was drunk on Grey Goose. I'm going to be wearing some shorts and a shirt made in China by a 10 year old girl, and watch my Sony TV with some of the parts made in who the hell knows what country by someone probably of French ancestry...I need a drink! Goose anyone??
