I recently bought a great 300ct humidor which I love, except for one thing, the large humidifier is too heavy for the magnet that it's glued to and keeps falling off. I need glue it back to the magnet, but I don't want to use any kind of toxic or heavy-smelling glue as it will affect the cigars inside.
Any ideas would be greatly apprecitated.

Hey Max; That exact thing happened to me with the humi Santa brought me last Christmas.
My solution was first to call the company I bought it from and get them to respond. They did and sent me some heavy duty velcro (industrial strength) with which I fastened the humidification devices in place. They have stayed on just fine since. The hygrometer kept falling out of it's nook too b/c it seems the magnet wasn't strong enough. I remedied this by buying the remote electronic one from Radio Shack that works like a champ. Here is the link to it here.
Hope that helps, Andy

Same thing here, every time I'd open the lid, the humidifier was laying on my cigars. I just ran over to my hardware store and bought a pack of 3M industrial strength velcro for like $3. Saves a little time.
I used some gorilla glue for my coolerdor. It seems to work well, and it bonds very well.

People aren't smoking cigars to be trendy, cool or stylish. They're smoking cigars because they like them. Because they enjoy the experience. Because for about $5 they can spend an hour sampling one of life's greatest luxuries. -David Savona

I have had to re-glue stuff in my humidors before and used a hot glue gun. It cools off and holds stuff great and is fast andno smell to transfer to my cigars.
