Lots of football conference championships today.

Did anyone see the butt whooping that Texas laid on Colorado? Whoa! 70-3. That was aweful! Can't they call the game like in Little League?? Wink

Right now USC is taking it to UCLA. 17-0 in early in the 2nd quarter. 97 yard march for this last score. Reggie Bush looks awesome. He is a lock for the Heisman!

Waiting for the LSU v Georgia game at 6:00 pm. That should be the game of the day. At least it will be close.

i was disgusted after seeing that texas score, hopeful for the usc game, turned that off at halftime, now i'm watching some real competition, college bball, more specifically the hated vanilla-nova wildcats take on the sooners

Geez... instead of Championship Saturday, this should have been called Blowout Saturday. Texas Massacre, USC Massacre. Possible Georgia Massacre, up by 14 at the half? Oh well..

Dan,
As a former Army Officer who went to OCS and always treated like a 3rd class officer by the West Pointers I like seeing Army loose. I know that sounds bad when being Army I would be for Navy but excluding Marine Officers all the Naval Acadamy grads I have worked with on joint operations were pretty good folks. Soooooooo I hope Navy Beats Army......

No. Navy killed Army! 4 straight now! Wow!

I love the Army/Navy game. It is always a battle with lots of heart and guts. One of the best college football traditions.

Guess I forgot all about the games. Here it is 5:30am, and I'm just finding out that my alma mater USC won.

Virginia Tech really blew it. I never dreamed that FSU would take it to them. It was 3-3 at the half and the game just got out of control in the 3rd Quarter. Unbelievable. It really, really cost them. And Beemer still can't beat Bowden.

Makes for an interesting Orange Bowl, though. Joe Pa v. Papa Bowden. I'm sure Penn State would have preferred Virginia Tech, though.

Geez, Ron. What kind of guy doesn't even pay attention to his Alma Mater's Number 1 ranked football team? Where are your priorities? Wink

Guess so.

And I sure wish I had it together financially as well as my parents did. Those 5 years were the best years of my life. Thus far anyway.

Hey, I'm just adding a comment to the thread here. I don't really give a f*** about who wins any particular football games, college or pro.

Nice attitude. Why respond to the thread at all? Confused

I responded to Cigarmanron and my post was sent to be reviewed. I am uncertain why? The only thing I can assume is that I quoted Ron and he had "f***" in his post.

Wow that could be. But weren't you put on moderated status before that post? It's a mystery.
