Ah, I see you can't discuss this subject without using INSULTS. Well, I think the idiot shoe is on your foot. It would have to be an idiot who is still supporting Bush and his cronies after they lied to the country and to the entire world to get us into this quagmire. As for future idiots, those would be anyone stupid enough to vote for Republicans again. You Republicans are the reason our economy and our position of respect that we once had in the world is in the toilet. But perhaps if you guys succeed in your usual fear mongering and politics of distraction about flag pins and other GOP idiocies, you might get enough people to be idiots again this November and vote for McSame. Right, IDIOT?

What exactly did Bush lie about?

Who is the one using INSULTS? You just called every person that is going to vote for McCain an idiot. I think you should practice what you preach.

You should learn to READ First. Your pal Presley called me an idiot about four posts ago. I am merely RESPONDING. If you guys could discuss politics without insults, I'd be happy to do the same. But once you dweebs START IT, do not complain when you get it back in SPADES.

Yeah, you're about twelve. I mean really, is that how you express yourself in person? Randomly screaming certain words or phrases? You come off as entirely too ignorant to even acknowledge.

Those were some of the first insults by the clown Presley. You see, when the FAR RIGHT startsd beating the drums for war with Iran (which gained a lot of strength thanks to your pal Bush) and says "Iran is arming the Shiites!", but you then tell them yeah, but the Saudis are arming and financing the Sunnis, they get all flustered and start spewing INSULTS. Exactly how 12 year olds behave when they get angry, which coincidentally, is the age he accuses ME of being. You are much too easy Pres; I only debate people who do not have a foot in their mouth and a thumb up their butt.

What is your point? The US is arming the Sunnis. We are now allied with many of the former Sunni insurgent groups. Iran is arming Shiite that are killing US soldiers. We need to hold Iran accountable for this. How we do that is debatable.

Really pathetic. You cannot even make an argument without using all caps. Did you say "dweeb"? Okay, it's settled, this guy isn't even twenty yet. No one older than twenty would say "dweeb" in a cigar board. Run along now, this is a discussion for grown-ups. Wink

ALL caps? Are you stupid? Wait don't answer that. Anyone who READS my above posts can see I DO NOT USE "ALL CAPS". I only use caps AS NEEDED, idiot. FOR EMPHASIS. See, that's how ADULTS post on bulletin boards. So, now that we have TAUGHT YOU something that you can talk about in third grade tomorrow, what is your purpose in posting on this board? Do you just need a place to VENT? Do you like posting someplace where NOBODY can DARE to DISAGREE with you? I mean, if that's what you want, ok, I'll just ignore you from this point on. Maybe you NEED a place to vent; after all, this is gotta be cheaper for you than paying for a psychiatrist. LMFAO.

Ok, you seem to be an intelligent, reasonable person who doesn't have to resort to insults to get his point across, so I'll discuss this issue with you! My point is that it is NOT just Iran that is arming and financing those in Iraq who are killing US forces. The Sunni forces such as Al Quaeda in Iraq are getting weapons and financing from the Sunni countries in the area, such as Saudi Arabia. And they are ALSO killing US forces. So following your logic, we should attack Saudi Arabia too. OR, we can get the hell out of the Middle East which is full of religious fanatics and where we had no business sticking our nose in the first place. Let them ALL kill each other; it's time for US to go.

I believe Iraq was invaded to scare the Saudis into cracking down on the extremists and to stop funding AQ. The only reason I don't support the over throw of the Saudi royal family is because the alternative could be much worse.

Believe it or not, I agree with you! As Pat Buchanan says, it might be time we came home and built fortress America.

LOL...why do you say "believe it or not"? Any American in his right mind has GOT to agree with this. The mid east is like an insane asylum; they're ALL crazy over there, some worse than others. No American blood should be spilled in that dump. I don't know about Pat Buchanan, he's pretty crazy himself, but he makes a lot of sense, and so does the one Republican who I really agree with: Ron Paul. Anyway, thanks for the RESPECTFUL reply. I can't stand guys who put up posts but only want people to agree with them. What is the point of that? Things are much more entertaining when there is respectful disagreement.

Johnny, welcome! It's good to have your voice. I'm also happy that you recognize that there are some hard neo-cons here that, lacking the ability to articulate a reasoned rebuttal, react to other opinions with derision, vulgarity and personal attacks, but that there are many more here almost as far right who are articulate, reasoned and respectful (though they do sometimes get a bit exasperated at us).

Why does this thread have three pages of responses? Seems to me that regardless of politics, we would all say "I hope this is true" and move on.

Do we all hope this is true and accurate?

Loco, try to refrain from insults, even if you were insulted. If I were to respond to every insult I have taken from Presley, SHEEP, cigdogg, etc.. I would be driving myself crazy by now. Take the moral high ground, it's the best tactic. Also insults do not really add to the quality of the thoughts and views you are trying to convey, on the contrary, it could tarnish them. Sit back and relax, it's not worth it. I personally debate on this forum when I have nothing else to do and I never allow it to get on my nerves. Never.

You mean I should turn the other cheek like a good Christian? But if I did, the right wing wouldn't know how to act. But I'll do my best. I guess guys like Presley turn to insults when they have nothing else; their ideas are bankrupt. I only insult when I've been insulted. Still, I'll try.

You have not formed one singular argument on your own here. You simply repeat what you hear in the media everyday. Give it a rest, Cabron.

Presley, all you're doing now is parroting what I pointed out recently that you're invariably guilty of .. that is, first finding out from your neo-con resources what your opinion is supposed to be, then posting. And because that's all you do, you're left unable to actually take part in a discussion where it's necessary to think and respond.

You have not made one single rebuttal on the merits of any argument on this board, not a single one. Ever. You call vulgar names, you ridicule, you lash out and sputter in rage ... but you don't articulate or reason. It's as if you've been the constant victim of schoolyard bullies, and now you're trying to compensate in an inappropriate venue.

Jack, give it a rest. You never deviate from what those you support believe. When Obama is caught in an out-right lie, you call it a misspeak and cover for it. You never stand for anything other than covering up the B.S. that now is so evident in everything that has happened to your candidates campaign in the last few weeks. That is fine, because that is what typical liberals do. You believe I get all my views from conservative outlets and that I cannot think for myself. You have nothing to base this on, not one thing. However, maybe you've never stopped to think about why conservatives usually agree. Perhaps it is because we share the same priciples and values. Ones that your kin do not share nor often respect. That is your prerogative. However, I do indeed think for myself and I do not defend my party when they screw up, which they surely have at times. You, on the other hand, are an apologist for your side. Do and say as you wish. Your opinion means about as much to me as I'm sure mine means to you. However, do not make the mistake of believing I cannot think for myself. Conservatives are born with brains as well as liberals like yourself. I would expect a more convincing arguement from someone 20+ years my senior. Roll Eyes

Now, perhaps we can get back on topic, about how we are kicking Al Qaeda's @ss.

Nice spelling. If you're gonna be a smart-@ss, try spelling it right first. Roll Eyes

Oh wait, let me guess, it must've been the U.S. government that knocked over the WTC, damaged the Pentagon and crashed a plane in Pennsylvania? I bet the U.S. Government attacked the U.S.S. Cole as well?
