It took about two weeks because you have to send your check to a go-between in Miami (Trans Express)

Do you work for Don Lucas or involved in any way with them?

No,I was just happy to finally get them. Due to mistakes and language barriers and address mix ups the the whole thing took about six weeks. LT

It's a local grower in the Dominican Republic. I was in Punta Cana in October and visited their museum/cigar showroom in nearby Bavaro.

Yeah they were good but a little stronger than the ones I had down in the DR. The cigars that I bought when I was down there were the corona Classic (mild to medium)and the ones that I ordered from home were the HS Series (medium bodied). I think you'll enjoy them.

What I really love about this forum is that the cigar manufacturers themselves will always pop in and reply to our questions.

In this case though, he seems to pop in to answer his own questions.

Here you have 3 people with less than 20 posts (less than 10, less than 5)poping up to pimp an obscure brand and giving us all the info to order... (I mean "Don Lucas" is not even in the 17.000 brands of the "Cigar rating" section)...

Dubious, wouldn't you say? Maybe they're good, but why use such a lame "infomercial" style approach...

Wow! These Don Lucas cigars sound just dandy! I'm sure glad I found out more about them! I hear that eight out of ten podiatrists prefer them!

Don't worry, fellas, these guys aren't shills for Don Lucas, they're just enthusiastic fellow connoisseurs just like us!

Mmm-mmm, I sure can't wait to get my paws on some Don Lucas brand Premium Handrolled Cigars! They're new! They're improved! They're old fashioned! They slice, they dice, they make julienne fries! They help prevent pneumonia, rickets, the condition known as "hot dog finger." They can even save your life during a bear attack!

I dialed this number and all I got was a Puerto Rican sex trade worker. I want my money back Scott.

Don Lucas you need to work better on your shilling techniques.

Your not posting to a bunch of children on the CA boards.
