Got home yesterday to an incredibly generous bomb from several of the BsOTL here!!
I'm blown away (almost literally). Your throughfullness and generosity are overwhelming - REALLY!
One of the boxes (yes I said ONE of the boxes!) was even beatifully customized!
Retirement wishes ("Hope you enjoy the bomb SubChop! We salute your service to our country and may retirement treat you well.") from the following gentlemen:
Mr. Goodfella cusccrstud21 Crazypoet jlaker thaterp
Specific 'shrapnel' includes:
Mr. Goodfella: - Don Gabriel custom rolled - Quintero MM (CC) - Partagas Short (CC) - Padron 3000 - AF Chateau Fuente - Oliva Nub Cameroon - Aurora 1495 - Cohiba (DR) - AF Don Carlos
Crazypoet: - ERDM Choix Supreme (CC) - MC#4 (CC) - Bolivar Beli (CC) - AF King B - AF Anejo 77 - Don Thomas Classico
jlaker: - Don Gabriel custom rolled - Quintero MM (CC) - Partagas Short (CC) - Padron 3000 - AF Chateau Fuente - Oliva Nub Cameroon - Aurora 1495 - Cohiba (DR) - AF Don Carlos
thaterp: - Oliva Serie G toro - 601 Habano (red) robusto - HDM Excalibur Epicure Maduro - RP Edge Corojo Torp - Gran Habano Habano #3 robusto
So many fine cigars that I've either not been able to find or just haven't gotten my hands on yet. I don't know where to start in enjoying them all. The Partagas Short and Bolivar have been on my CC 'to buy' list and the Olivas and several of the AFs are ones I've been meaning to try for awhile among NCs.
I think someone stuck even more goodies than the above list, as there was a Cohiba Siglo II tubo in there as well (although that may have been used to protect another treat - I haven't conducted an inventory yet )
Thank you all very much - I can almost literally not fit another single cigar in my humi. Life is good!!

That's great SubChop. I was contacted by Goodfella (Who is indeed an amazing fella) and he asked me if I wanted to participate in the attacks against your humidor, but I apologized for I can't break international laws and attack sovereign humidors, haha No seriosly, I really would have loved to send you some nukes over there but I couldn't for the reasons we all know. But please know that I wish you all good luck in your after military career.
(Consider coming to Egypt for a couple of weeks, as a kind of relaxing retirement vacation, you'll like it and I can show you around Alex)

Thanks Lucky!
Actually our submarine was scheduled for a port visit to Alexandria back in 1990, but then the first Gulf war broke out and all the good ports were cancelled when we were retasked (although we did get to go to Toulon, which was VERY nice! )

How does one resource addresses for said bombing runs? I have a few solo missions I would like to carry out, but I cannot find proper coordinates for my victims without first notifying them in advance.

A few discrete e-mails to known trading partners of your intended target can work wonders.
So many cigars, so little time...

I happen to have a couple addresses - send me an email if you'd like

I am glad to hear that you are doing well after the bombing. Some of the contents were mixed up on the listing, but you got them all on there. I figured I would get it there a few days early for some pre-retirement excitement. Thank you for your service, and have a great retirement.
(although we did get to go to Toulon, which was VERY nice! )
Man I could go for a smash sandwich and a big beer. I enjoyed Toulon for a two week visit back in 96.
Oooh, you had to go and mention the smashed sandwiches. If God drinks beer, I'll bet he has a smashed sandwich at the end of the night
I wonder if I could make one at home using a waffle maker?
There was this old bar wench in one pub, we called her "pancake t!tt!es" (I think she liked the attention). That was in 1990 - ring any bells?

Don't recall that, sounds fun though. I hung out at some little joint down the street from the main gate. Come out of the main gate and turn left, somewhere down this road to the right was where I lived when liberty call went down. I watched a scrawny little bartender, maybe 5' 4", drag this big guy out into the street by his hair. The guy used to come to the table and slap the coasters down like some guy with the big joker in a spades game. He was very entertaining and sold beer in large glasses.
Fun times, it's so much different nowadays.

Looks like it's becoming popular here to gang up against an innocent unsuspecting victim and bomb the heck out of their humidor Great gesture gentlemen, kudos!
SubChop, wish you pleasant and relaxing retirement, and lots of great smokes! Oh, look at that, it seems certain part of my last wish to you already came true
