So we head on down to Cuba twice a year, the two of us and a bunch of friends. The two of us have been going down for the last 6 years or so, we go to the same spot all the time, no complaints and we like what we see so we keep going. We got to know the people there very well. One of the guy we met there was a cook - great guy! He was telling us about how he met a girl from Toronto and he was going to marry her and be in Toronto - I live in toronto so I was rather excited and told him "Whenever you get to Toronto, Call me and I will get you sorted with a job"
Well... he called me on Friday - he said he has been here in Toronto for 3 months working downtown and married! It pretty crazy to hear that since I was so used to seeing this guy cooking up a storm while I was relaxing and drinking my beer smoking a cigar! So I told him - We will get together REALLY soon, smoke a cigar and have a drink. And he said he brought me some Romeo y Juileta's, so bonus! Anyways, I am still in shock because we have met some people there and became like family because of the amount of time we go, and when we are there we hang out with them and treat them like equal - some people dont. So this is pretty cool for us, cant wait to sit and smoke a cigar with the guy!
That's pretty awesome. Looks like you've got yourself a new friend to hang out with and smoke. It's always nice to know people who share your interests.
