Just posting to ask those who pray to send out a prayer for the families of those effected by this tragic accident. My heart goes out to the 4 people killed and their families.
Apparently as soon as it happened locals went in droves to give blood but were turned away because they had so much. Love to see my community come together like that, proud to be a Texan. Take care everyone.

Well according to reports from people who actually witnessed it, the driver of the flat bed truck actually did leave enough room to get through. Apparently the red light came through faster than expected and traffic got backed up as he went to pull forward and was literally sandwiched between everyone. And being a parade, traffic was backed up for a good 30-40 cars in a single file line.
Right now the Midland Police Department is investigating the accident. The railroad commission will take over the investigation shortly as it is their "jurisdiction" I'm told.
Also, just by happens stance, there was a Chase bank camera that recorded the entire accident. All the wounded vets were to have dinner at a local Rodeo/Event center and then were all being taken on a weekend hunting trip by some of the more prominent members of the community.
