Are Graycliffs worth the price? These are pretty expensive sticks, but you don't hear that much said about them. Just wondering...

Not in my opinion. They are expensive and only average (IMHO) cigars

Doc, you beat me to it.

They're OK at best. Last one I had tasted like lawn clippings smell. I can get for free in my backyard.

If you're going to spend the money, go for a Fuente Don Carlos, you'll be much happier.

I just had my first one about a week ago and IMHO they are definitely overpriced. Extremely bitter at the start that smoothed out slightly as the stick burned but overall not worth the price. Ironically I will be at Graycliff Hotel this coming week so maybe I will try a "fresh" one and see if there is any difference.

ABSURDLY overpriced and not remotely worth it. These would be average to good quality cigars at $6 a stick...at $20+ fugaddaboudit. Why should I pay three times what a cigar is worth just because the manufacturer wants to make it in the Bahamas? If you're prepared to spend that much and want cigars that are actually worth every penny, look for Tatuaje and Padilla Miami.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds about like a Cohiba Red Dot... you just pay for the name, but the cigar tastes like hay.

Actually, I have already picked up a Tatuaje and am getting some Padilla Miamis the next time I order. Those have been on my list for a while now!

I had the same question about Tabacalera Perdomo's Edicion de Silvio. At $12 to $30 a pop (depending on the size), it makes you wonder.
