Summer: by/in the pool, near a campfire, on the porch.
Winter: I don't mind the cold, and I love snow-covered mountains and woods in the background, so I'll bundle up, brew a fresh pot of coffee, and light up outside. If you've never tried it, you're missing out.
THE BEST PLACE TO SMOKE IS THE HAVANA CIGARS IN ANTHEM ARIZONA. (Right of I-17 North) IT HAS THE LARGEST WALKIN HUMIDOR IN ARIZONA WITH COMPLETE SPANISH CEDAR. IT HAS TWO LOUNGES. THE STORE IS VERY WELL UP SCALE DESIGNED, WELL PRICED AND COMPLETLY OUT OF THE WORLD CUSTOMER SERVICE GIVEN. WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED! YOU COULD SEE THE WEBSITE TO BELIEVE IT. www.havanacigarsAZ.com
I like to go to Tobacco Republic in the little town of loomis, Ca. I dont go as often as I'd like and it is about a 45 minute drive from my place but its worth it for the sellection. a few leather chairs a leather couch and good smoke.sometimes I'll pick up a smoke at Briar patch in Arden mall in sacramento. It is about an hour drive but sometimes I find myself in sacramento for business. Theres no place to sit but you can stand there lean on the counter and shoot the breeze with the staff.and once you light up you cant leave and walk into the mall. sometimes it beats the car if its a very hot day. If I cant make it there I am probably smoking in the car or a park.
In the summer, on my tractor cutting the grass with a cold beer. No wonder my wife asks me why I have to cut the lawn 4 times a week. Also on the golf course. In winter - a place called the American Bar & Grille but only after 9pm is it allowed.
Tennesseans being no smarter than anyone else around our Great Nation typically manage to fumble through each election process and unwittingly anoint an inordinate percentage of pea-size brained people to run the state. Keeping with the tradition of jealously preserving our beloved freedoms, my Great State's most recently elected purveyors of laws, collectively joined hands with the P.C. anti-smoking crowd this past session and outlawed tobacco use in bars/restaurants and other public places...God bless them and their ilk...
For years my friends and I have gathered before and after Nashville Predators hockey games and Tennessee Titans football games at The Flying Saucer here in Nashville, a very fine cigar-friendly grogery in the most traditional sense, where we have enjoyed food, fun, music, good cheer, liberal libation and ultimately the extreme pleasure of fine cigars. The passage of this intrusive and discriminatory act raised our worse fears that its result would sound the deathblow to any future such experiences.
Alas, it appears that when the fateful day in October arrives after which tobacco users will be striped of just one more freedom to the detriment of us all, our Grand Grogery, The Flying Saucer, will utilize an exception to the harsh and unfair law permitting the continuation of our and others' smoking tradition.
I felt you needed to know this. My friends and I will continue on with our traditions and have fine smokes. The clientele will change being restricted under the exception to those 21 years of age or older. The Flying Saucer will loose a younger crowd but at the same time, those who enjoy a good cigar and are pushed out of their favorite local taproom will ultimately seek out and discover this oasis in an otherwise unfriendly desert where all can continue to practice one more freedom under attack.
During the warm months, I'll generally smoke outside at night and relax. I have yet to figure out where I will smoke come winter time, with Illinois just having passed the smoking ban. Any suggestions? My local b&m does not currently have a cigar lounge and I cannot smoke in my dorm room or house when I go home. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Originally posted by ddocman: Since the smoking ban in Philly, I mostly smoke on my porch at night. Although even before the ban, most bars/establishments would allow cigarette smoking but not cigar smoking. There are quite a few places that I still will not go today, out of spite, becuase they would allow cigarettes but not cigars.
I digress.... I still enjoy a smoke every once in a while in washington square (until they ban public parks) during my lunch break.
You know Mahagony on Walnut is a pretty decent place to smoke. Thier cigars are over priced and they only sell a limited selection (owned by Holts) but they let you bring your own and the drinks are fairly priced. Just a thought.

Hello all, I usually smoke out on the back deck next to the pool. TN this summer has been a scorcher! In the winter I usually huddle up to the gas grill to take the chill off. I plan on installing a patio heater next year! I have a nat gas line out there so it should be no problem. My dog (Giant Schnauzer) loves joining me on the deck. When she hears me taking off the cellaphane wrap or even seeing the cigar in hand she heads for the door. A true friend indeed.

I enjoy smoking on my porch listing to a ball game most summer evenings. In the morning I sit by my pool and smoke while enjoying a cup of coffe and the paper.
Some weekdays I enjoy the company of my local ciagr club members.
I smoke at Stanley Pappas Cigars and would definitely say it is Colorado's Premier Cigar Lounge. It's super comfortable atmosphere makes it very easy to make new friends, and I absolutely love watching golf with the "crew." Some even say it is better than Cheers.
I smoke at my favorite cigar shop in the city of Chicago. The name of that shop is Hubbard State Cigar Shop. The shop has become my Fortress of Solitude. James White Chicago, IL

Excellent cigar selection, great service, and wonderful atmosphere. Great place to smoke a stogie and read a newspaper. Nice leather furniture and impressive memorabilia. A must stop for all visitors and presidential candidates. Peace.
On my front porch, with my dog at my side. Also on the back deck, under the stars. And of course at the beach! I'm looking forward to the Tobay Beach boat show in October. Last year, while browsing with a cigar and a beer, a guy looked at me and said, "A cigar, a beer and a boat show. Heaven!" (of course I concurred)
in the summer and spring i actually like to lay on the roof of my house and smoke my stogie looking up at the stars.in winter i pull up a chair near the window in my studio. i grab a book to read while im smoking. every sunday afternoon i head over to my buddies store "cigars plus". there is a really comfortable lounge in the store with a huge big screen t.v. we b.s and watch what ever sports game is on. its my retreat away from home before the week begins.
one of my favorite, n first indoor cigar smoking experiences was at the huge walk in humidor of a store on 5th ave in nyc..... its the j r cigar shop n the store, staff, n smell of the place is just heaven......... when i fist went there, i was smoking cigars for only a week, n i had one of there tobbaconist walk me through the basics, get me a good cutter, lighter, n sampler pack, while i walked around the store puffing on one of his suggestions..........THE most friendly n welcoming smoke shop ive ever been to where no question goes unanswered, n everyone seems at ease..........
