unfortunately the only thing missing from my place is a balcony/patio. i usually go to the local cigar bar whiskey cafe which is only 2 blocks away. nice ambiance, great selection of whiskey/scotch but at times pricey if i lose control . otherwise i just pull out a lawn chair on the sidewalk in front of my place with a glass of havana club (the cops never give us trouble). sometimes the local LCDH.
i personally like my back porch. its covered and my backyard is pretty private. i take out wine usually but some jameson or scotch. im new to scotch so i make that a pretty big deal, only drinking it on a sunday. if not on the porch then at the local bar. one thing my town is missing is a cigar lounge.

New laws or not, I smoke in my car when driving, I smoke outside at work (from a Gov. building), so far smoking outside is fine , But in the winter time in Northern MN it is a very quick smoke.......

I smoke on my deck. We have a nice little spread in Alabama and there's no one around to object. Also, I smoke around the campfire or in my hammock when we're camping. I have a great study that I'd love to smoke in but the wife objects, plus I don't want my nice books smelling of smoke. Fortunatly, the winters have been mild lately so I can smoke outside year round....if anything, it's too HOT to smoke outside right now....105 some days!
Chances are if I'm enjoying a fine cigar, it will be in my garage. Anywhere else on the property and I will most likely be in a Loriana Bobbit situation that very evening. : )
Every now and then, I go to Excalibur Cigars in San Diego and actually get to relax on a nice sofa and enjoy a smoke.

The draconian laws out here don't allow me to smoke in public. No bars or restaurants anywhere that I am aware of.
Be that as it may, with nice weather (re: dry), I'll usually be outside, on the deck, front steps, walking the neighborhood. In winter, I will smoke inside, close the doors, and do a good "airing out" after I am finished.
I'm in Ireland so I smoke outside unless I'm in prison or a psychiatric ward, which is rare enough. I have a heated shed at the end of the garden where I sometimes go, someone called it my "man cave". In winter, if my wife says I've been good, I'm sometimes allowed have one in the living room with a turf (peat) fire going. The fire helps to suck the smoke out of the room and the smell from the turf is fantastic, it's getting harder to find though.

Here in the State of Washington we live under a draconian smoking ban. So when our cigar club gets together, we are forced to travel outside the Seattle area to the various casinos (tribal lands are exempt from state laws). When alone, however, I simply sit out on my back deck (except in winter).

I have never smoked in my home, even when I lived alone.
In warmer weather, I smoke either in my garage or backyard or at a cigar-friendly bar, restaurant, casino or reactrack. A full smoking ban in Michigan is still likely at least 2 years away.
And then there will always be the Native American casinos.
I smoke generally at home on my deck, but my other favorite spot is at the biggest, baddest cigar joint in Kansas City, MO - Outlaw Cigar Company! Check out the latest article in this month's Cigar Aficionado or the latest article in Smoke Shop. And no, I am not the owner!
Saturday night, out in the yard when it is nice and peaceful. It's just me sitting in my chair and listening to the sounds that are all around me. It is one of the most relaxing times to smoke a cigar.

Either out on the front porch or on the back deck. My brother lives 15-20 mins away in NYC so I try to get in there at least once a month to smoke at Club Macanudo, Grand Havana Room(friend is a member), or the Carnegie Club. Also in North Jersey, even though the ban is in full effect.. the pub where I met my wife (curse that place) still allows smoking and has some big screens to watch some baseball, football or rugby...

The place to go is Tribeca Cigar Company in downtown Downers Grove, Il. They have a good selection, lockers for rent, and a very relaxed atmosphere. There is usually sport of some kind on in the back room where people can sit and enjoy their smokes.
When weather permits, the backyard Patio Level, Fire Place Level, Lido Deck Level, or Luau Deck Level [various neighbors patios]... When weather does not permit at home, the garage...
Weather, or not, the local shop several evenings during the week; and, Saturday and Sunday to catch up with the regulars...
The cars only on long trips and in weather that allows the windows to be down... I like my cigars, but not the odor of stale cigar smoke...
