All that other stuff is fun for the office pools, but who do you think is going to be the champ once the dust clears?

A lot of the top teams have had a rough run lately, so this year is looking difficult. Hard to pick against Duke, so I won't. Senior leadership is going to help them through. I am not confident in UConn.

If you say Gonzaga, I will laugh. Morrison is a great player, but he does not have the support needed.

Duke.... they play D... NOT!!!

When JJ Reddick is off.... Duke struggles...
As good as Shelden is.. won't be enough...

No 1 seed is going to win this year.... none of them are smoking going in to the tourney.... someone hot that has been moving up the board of late will make a run...

Pitt, Ohio State... don't look past UCLA...

I agree with Marc, Duke can struggle when Reddick struggles.

Texas is my darkhorse, though I like the Bruins too (graduated from there, 1996).

By the way, Wake and Duke are tied at this moment.

Come on, people -- too much waffling. Marcellus picked three teams.

To quote Highlander, there can only be one.

I say subjectively BC, and objectively UCONN.

Im gunna go with Marquette... otherwise villanova. Villanova has that quickness to em, and they are extremely talented, not just relying on one guy. Their run and gun style isnt easy to defend against. And not to mention, I do not think they gave their best in the big East tournament, in order to preserve themselves for the NCAA tournament.
I do not believe Uconn even has a chance, and as far as duke goes, Redicks knee might be given him problems now, you never know.

I only pick marquette because I'm a student there. Smile

I am going to say UCONN right now but I think this year's tournament is going to shock some people. There are a lot of teams that are "Equal" going into the tournament. If you thought any team at any given moment could win in the past, I think this year is going showcase some lesser known teams.
