True story:

Last election, my Black Lab responded to a John Kerry solicitation. I gave him the response form, and he promptly tore it to pieces and slobbered all over it; he needed my assistance getting it back into the supplied envelope, but since it was postage prepaid at least he didn't have to lick a stamp.
