Just thought I would let everyone here know my experience with the auction. I won a bid on 5 Olor Rothchilds and they arrived on schedule. I lit one up and it had a terrible taste to it(I usually like the creamy nutty flavor). I waited a couple of days and tried another in hopes that it was a fluke. It too was terrible. I called Famous Smoke Shop to let them know and that I didn't want a refund, I just wanted to have them replaced. The customer service rep told me that I had to send the remaining cigars to the shipping dept for inspection and that because it was an auction, I would have to pay the shipping. Ok, so I only paid $10 for these and shipping would probably be a little over $3.00. I told the customer rep that I wasn't going to bother but that I would probably never buy from the auctions again as it left a bad taste in my mouth. He didn't seem to care much. I will probably just let them sit for 6 months and try one and I am only out $10.00 plus the lousy $5.95 s&h but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I will order from them anymore. Does anyone have any similar incidents?
If you haven't already tried, I remember a place in Toledo that was kind of nice. The guy has a tobacco store in one half of the room and a bait-and-tackle type place in the other half. Strange but true. Maybe someone from Toledo can identify the place. Anyway, the dude was helpful and friendly. As many others have said here, it's always good to have a local tobacconist, even if you get lots of smokes elsewhere.

Yeah, I go there once a month or so. It is called Port Royal and there are about 3 other stores in Ohio(Cleveland and Columbus). It is nice and I have never seen anyone shopping for bait and tackle but they still sell it. It is obviously a little more pricey than the internet. There are actually 2 pretty nice Tobaccanists in Toledo. The other is called The Cigar Merchant. It is nice to have a choice of where to go. Plus, they both offer different attractions.
