I have just finished reading an article about a pulitzer prize winning journalist that passed away yesterday ( wed.) His name is Jack White, and is from Providence, R.I. Does anyone know if this is one and the same Jack White that we have (had) on the forums?

I think Jack was from Boston, MA. I have wondered what happened to him. I hope he is alive and well and will return here soon.

I emailed him and asked if he was still with us and invited him back to the Forum.

I really hope it isn't the Jack White from here. He is really a well spoken, thoughful, and intelligent guy and keeps the place jumping with his alternative view of things. Anyway a little history on the article....it came from the Associated Press written by Eric Tucker. His pic is displayed in the article and it shows an older caucasian male glasses, full head of hair neatly trimmed beard probably in his 60s. It gave his home as Cape Cod, he received many awards throughout his career and was the investigator that tripped up Nixon and made him utter " I am not a crook" butNixon wound up paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for tax evasion. Hmmm...maybe he meant "I am not a COOK" but thats another story. Jack hope that isn't you in the article!
