My wife and I just found out that the baby we are expecting at the end of February is going to be a girl!! We have two boys now and are finishing our "reproducing" by having a girl. So...needless to say, tonights cigar will be a celebration for myself. I'M HAVING A GIRL!!! Cool.
I'm excited as can be. She is really gonna be a daddy's girl. I will be wrapped around her finger, I'm sure. By the way, mommy is ecstatic and I'm happy I was able to give her a girl (finally).
Well, we are really at odds with names and I'm not sure how easily that one will be resolved. I'm sure by the time she is born, all will be well, but we are sure in disagreement on names. Its all good though!
I have a 15 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. They are very different and special in their unique ways! However, prepare to have her become "daddy's little girl". Can't fight it and it's great. Congrats!

Big Ol' congrats bud. The success to raising a girl and protecting her from guys like you used to be, is when she brings that first date home. Or really any date there after. Congrats! My daughter is 3 and every day is a blast...playing with barbi dolls isn't as bad as what you might think when you see your daughters face light up when you go "ok, fine...i'll play barbi but only ONCE!"

Congrats. I have a baby girl who just turned one. She just started using sign language and it was truly amazing to have two way communication with her for the 1st time. I'm sure your familiar with the feeling since you have 2 boys already, but looking down on your sleeping little girl brings a rush of pride and happiness so intense you can feel it wash over you.
