"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

You can get good prices if you're careful, but it's easy to overbid - know the MSRP before you bid, and know how much you're willing to go beyond that.
It's not about winning - it's about getting good smokes at a good price.
So many cigars, so little time...

Cigarbid.com is great for lower prices. However, their shipping isn't the best in the world. That don't really take adequate measures to protect your cigars.Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible or anything, but don't be surprised if for every 10 cigars you buy 2 are damaged, but still smokable.

I've use c-bid many times and have never (repeat never) had a problem with their shipping. And, at least when being shipped to New England, they are fast.

I've never had a problem with their shipping either, or the condition of the cigars when they arrived.

You might also check CI's website. If you are looking to get a good sampling of cigars, they have something called "Friday NIght Fights" that is 10 cigars, 5 from each of 2 brands. You can usually get 10 good cigars for $30-$35 and thsy don't send you all skinny sticks

In case no one noticed. CI, cigar.com and cbid are the same company. Just down the road from me. 45 min anyway.
I thought Cigar.com only warehoused there; not the same company. I know cigarbid and CI are the same.
I buy both 5 packs and boxes; mostly 5 packs though. No problems with shipping. They package the 5 packs well; at least I think so. I have gotten 6 or 7 5-packs at one time, too.

I've received as little as one 5 pack (depends on what I bid successfully for that week). They always use a box (not a soft wrapper) and an inflated air pillow to protect the cargo. As I said, I have not had any problems.

The only time I had a problem with Cbid was when I won a box of Padilla 1932. The box had been opened and it looked like they had taken a bunch of damaged singles and put them in the box.
