This, from my understanding is it is sort of in between strengths. Based on your pallet you can taste the cigar as a mild or medium.

Yup, that's my understanding as well. I think though it's rather subjective when it comes to these in-betweens or upper/lower ends, because there is no fine line and people's pallets differ. I've seen different people describe the same cigar as medium/full and definitely medium. But when it's right in the middle of light or mild or medium or full, seems like everybody agrees.
