Anyone know if buying cuban cigars at duty free in Cancun is safe? Are they real? Or just do the usual "close inspection" of the rings? CA has a great "fake" section and thats all i have to go by. Is "ring check" the absolute test? What if a box is sealed....how do you know? What a hassle!
Thanks-Rick

If you are buying them from a duty free shop they are most likely legit.

I bought some cigars in Barcelona from a duty free shop and they were the genuine article.

I would imagine that buying them at an airport or pier duty free shop would give you some security as the government of Mexico has their fingers in the pie
