I've been lurking, and posting a few opinions, but this is my first new topic.
Has anyone besides me tried Finck cigars? They happen to be one of my favorites, but I have never seen them mentioned in any of the reviews. I, for one, would rate the Finck Travis Club as good as a Punch, with the advantage to Finck.

I don't know about that but it's certainly not high praise either way. I smoked some Finick stuff a long time ago and I remember it as being decent commercial quality stuff. I think it was called Lamb's Club or something? Anyway, dark days I would not want to revist. I'd suggest lurking to a dealer of any of the following brands to see how much better a cigar can be: La Flor Dominicana, Tatuaje, Padilla, Camacho, Joya de Nicaragua (maybe too strong for someone who's not an everyday smoker), La Perla Habana, Carlos Torano, Padron.
Finck is here in San Antonio (they manufacture a lot of their stuff here) -- they make a lot of fair cigars and at their retail store they sell lots of good imported cigars -- the prices are good -- Travis Club cigars are their best seller -- machine made but not bad -- they do have a web site and sell nation wide -- Just info -- not pushing them
Yes, the Travis Club series is one of my favorites. I have found I prefer the Travis Club Maduro Especiale to La Aurora Preferido Tubos. I have tried Torano, La Vieja, CAO, AVO, Rockey Patel, Arturo Fuentes, Macanudo, etc, but always come back to the Finck. Maybe I have cheap tastes, but I enjoy them.
I just wonder why they have never been reviewed. I'd like to see them in a blind taste test sometime.
Emeraldsmoke, this is just FYI, but the Travis Clud Especiale Maduro is 100% long filler. Some of the other sizes use short filler, or combinations of long and short.
Mike you know better than that. All I can say is a cigar magazine will be doing a profile on the Fincks soon. They also make a cuban cigar made from pre embargo tobacco. (I've seen the bales.)
