O man, no sarcasm intended, actually learning a ton from you guys. still I've seen watched the posts and newbies asking about cubans are burned at the stake. Yet I have to believe you all figured out the solution somehow...secret password , handshake WHAT??? I have a resource but very unreliable.

In terms of sources, many people may not give them out but would be willing to help with verification of one you have. Probably better to try on the CC board.

Ok, grasshopper...here are a few key things...all cuban cigars suck! But, if you must smoke them, and you find your source unreliable...try a different source! Trial and error is the way to go. Or, buy a German cigar magazine, see who advertises, and check out their internet site...if you're buying from a Costa Rican source, you have yet to smoke a cuban cigar...if you buy in the Caribbean or Mexico from anyone other than a LCDH, you have yet to smoke a cuban cigar...if you buy in Canada, you are either a wealthy or foolish man, but have at least smoked cuban cigars...once you establish your "control" taste, you can test to see if your sources are similar...then you go ahead and order a boatful...provided you live outside USA... Wink

A buttload considering I have about 1200 or so cigars in 15 humidors ( yes some boxes or double boxes have their own humidors)...but since you don't want us to count..and buttload will have to suffice

At last count I have about 900 cigars, so figure an average of 25 cigars a box, thats about 15 brands, 25 different lines and 30-40 vitolas.

I spent the last 2 years sampling everything I could get my hands on, and have far too many left to count the range of brands.

However, if I had an empty humi to fill i would fill it with ERDM Choix Supremes for my daily smoke, and a stash of Padron 6kMs and Gisperts for a change of pace smoke.

I just got past that phase. I smoked all my leftovers and I am ready to order the smokes that I liked the most. I just don't have a humidor big enough to fit them all yet.

I'm just picky. To be honest, there's not that much out there that I like. I know the flavor profiles that I'm after and I just stick to the smokes that offer them. I don't feel like I'm missing out really because every smoke in my humidor is one I really enjoy. My new humi will hold 8-10 boxes and I figure about 1 box of that many different varieties would do me just fine.
