After Church and shopping I'll have lunch and then enjoy an Opus X Reserva de Chateau. Been planning this one since Wednsday. It's got a good year on it.
Turned out to be a three cigar day with the great weather we had. Cold but sunny. Started with a Monte #4 CC. Before dinner it was an outstanding Oliva V torpedo. Even better than the last one. And after a Steak on the grill it was the Opus X. This was great but that Torpedo was the best of the day.

Outside in chilly almost cold Connecticut, watching Fox News Sunday on the deck with a coffee and another LFD Corona. I tyried one yesterday and liked it so much I smoked it until I burned my fiongers, then I used a toothpick and finished it LOL!
Seriously a good cigar. Working around the yard today picking up real dog rockets!

The meteorolgists were wrong again today. Colder than predicted with more rain. That means a shorter smoke for dad and I. I have a nice Petit Edmundo picked out and dad will be choosing between Padilla 1932 Robusto and a Partagas Short.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning. Not that I want to rub it in but here in FL the weather is very nice. I'll leave the cold weather to you all. This morning I had a Diamond Crown and later this evening LFD Double Ligeros. Enjoy your sunday and tomorrow we will be back at it again.
P.S...Doc I finally made your post. By the time I get to reply its usually the next day (LOL)
Good morning Doc, Glad to hear your bride is returning. Married for 25 years... Batching it is highly over rated.
Coffee I brought back from Papua New Guinea which is extremely strong almost cuban strong. And if the politicals will leave me alone...I will finish this most excellent RP Decade.

"Cuban seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Cuba. The wrapper would be from Cuba. The binder leaves would be from Nicaragua. For the ligero tobacco in the filler, he would use two types, one from Esteli and the other from Jalapa in Nicaragua. The other filler components, seco and viso, would come from Cuba, the former from Villa Clara, the latter from Pinar del Rio. That Cigar, he says with pride, would score 100 points." -Don Pepin Garcia

I am enjoying a aston esg as I write this post. Great cigar but I believe it,s a little too pricey. I think next time I would rather by an opus instead.

Smoked todays cigar, an Illusione 88, at about 2am this morning while watching people loose tons on money on the boat, Argosy Casino in Indiana. I only play the horses but I went down with some friends and family and we all had a good time. Gonna watch the rece, GO JR, and take a nap a bit later. Hope everyone enjoys their cigars.
Took a couple days off from cigars, but it's a fairly decent day here, for now. Trying a Cu-Avana Maduro robusto. A light, Dominican smoke from Manuel Quesada. I wasn't impressed at all with the first one I tried a couple weeks ago, but chalked it up to time & place. This one is much better. A decent, value-priced smoke ($3-ish)for kicking around outside.
Started the day with an IT Cameroon Legend while preparing the lawn mower for up coming use next weekend. Probably have an RP 1990 later this afternoon.
