Hey there, i'm new to cigars and was wondering what would be some good things to try out. I have purchased and smoked a few cigars here and there and these are the ones I really enjoyed. Can anyone suggest some stuff along the same lines or maybe something else I should try?

Thats a good start. Any padron is a good smoke.Punch rare corojo's are nice, AF chataeu fuente.Best advice is buy a bunch of sampler packs.It is a good way to try a variety until you learn what you like. and welcome to the asylum.
YOur off to a great start. I recommend that you befriend a local store and explain it to him. He can show you around the humidor and tell you about each one of those.
Sometimes you have to go out on a limb, because that is where the fruit is.
Just a little tip for you since you're new. Arturo Fuente seems to be fond of not designating what cigar you are smoking. You kinda just have to know by wrapper, packaging, what not to know what it is. All of their boxes kinda have random packaging etc. There is no such thing as "Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva" thats just some spanish mumbo jumbo they put on there to sound cool.

That drives me crazy.. I will finish a cigar, then have to go do research to figure out what the hell it was I just smoked! Newbie mistake I guess? I like the way ashton tells you right on the band what all of their cigars actually are.

When it's something new for me, I do the research before I smoke.

Always choose name brands first, strength second. Your selection is excellent. Best bets: Ashton Classics, Macanudos, and Fuentes. The fuente 858 is a good choice for novices. Nice flavor, good price, and the flavor will not knock you for a loop.

Yea I have about 6 Arturo Fuentes in my humidor of all different shapes and wrappers and they all say Grean Reserva. Not good for a noob.
But some came from PIF, Wishlist and Secret santa, so now I know which one is the work of art, etc.
