How comes nealy all the bad guys are cigar smokers? Kingpin, Dr Octopus, Mr Freez and even Hadies from Disnys Herculies smoked at least one cigar. Iv only seen Last Action hero, Logan from X-Men and Hellboy light up a stogie but they are the only good guys that do. The only reson I can think of that good guys dont but bad guys do is to get a messege out that smoking in general is bad.

Men of power, be they evil or genius have always enjoyed cigars.

In Spiderman, the editor of the newspaper that Peter Parker works for smokes a cigar

Doc ***** Tobacco is a filthy weed, I like it...

In Predator, Arnold Schwartzenegger smoked a cigar. Like DocBarry said, it enhanced the perception that he was a man of power.

As for the Rocky movies, Paulie was usually seen smoking a cigar. He was a drunk and a goof. But certainly not a bad guy, per se. Go figure Roll Eyes

John Wayne and Clint Eastwood always had one lit.

If you noticed only in the kid movies to the "villians" smoke cigars. Its disneys way of trying to say that smoking is bad, be it cigar or cigarette.
In the westerns and movies for adults cigars are used to show "power" like said above.

*Im new and plan to smoke every brand I see*
