I was at the Mall yesterday with the wife and kid. Anyway, there used to be a cigar store in the mall but they just closed down. While looking around a new store had opened called the "SC Store"... in the back they had a case with all of the old stock from the cigar store. They had it humidified and their reading looked good. SO...... there is a sign that says 50% all cigars and Colibri lighters So I bought the reminder of their Padron 2000's for $2.25 a stick plus they gave me the box. I also bought a $32 lighter for $16. I have never smoked the Padron before.... are they a good smoke and did I get a good buy?

FYI, anyone in the Columbia SC area this was in the Columbinia Center Mall off of Harbison Blvd.

That is about the right price for padron 2000s if you buy them online. I hope you enjoy them. They are in my regular rotation. I think the maduros are a little better than the naturals.

Nice find, Jack. All of the Padrons, IMHO, are good smokes. Go back and buy some more, since you like them. You'll be glad you did.

That's a very good price for the 2000's. I personal like the 2Ks & 5K Maduros the best from that line...but I'm looking forward to trying the new 6000s.

Not sure where "pmp" is shopping online and getting a price like that.

"make em an offer" on the rest.

Betcha they bought that stuff for about 10 cents on the dollar (perishable goods) and might be happy to double their money by selling to you for 20 cents on the dollar especially for the cigars, but you're gonna have to make it worth their while by offering to buy most of it.....(or at least make a BIG purchase)

Idesign - $2.48 per stick for a box and he got singles for $2.25...sounds like a great deal to me. Heck, he saved almost $5 if he picked up 20.

Ruger, Idesign posted the place I was referring to. I am not going to split hairs over 5 bucks/box. I would say that anything in the 2-3 dollar range is a good price for those smokes seeing as most people would and often do pay 4-6 if they go to a brick and mortar joint, especially in california.
