I just shoveled about an inch of sleet and slush from my front walk. By itself it was heavy stuff, but mix it with wet leaves and it was downright TOUGH.
With MrsDoc upstairs wrapping gifts I have retreated to the den with my second cup of coffee and a Maduro Hemingway Classic from last Christmas.
I have the frieplace going and I am sitting in my leather chair with my slippers (but no pet at my feet, MrsDoc won't allow Peter to smoke with me)
That and a left over petit four from a party at my wifes sisters yesterday make it a nice AM relaxation.
More later.

It is evening where I am. I will be enjoying a MC #2 with a "near bear" (I hate General Order #1). I will be headed to the states shortly for an R&R of Christmas w/ the kids and then New Years in Vegas.
Had a smoke very late last night, so suppose this might qualify as today.
Smoked a Cohiba Sublime 2004 in the freezing cold as the wind and snow storm of the century whipped off of Lake Ontario, while my family skated on the Queens Quay (Key) ice rink in downtown Toronto.
Despite the 50km wind and -8°C temp, I really enjoyed this massive Cuban. Topped off, with what else, a flask of El Dorado 21 year old. Wow, made me forget all about our near Arctic weather.

Picked the Edge maduro toro from the 2-weeks old PIF(thanks floridasmoke). Strong is the noun, extremely is the adjective. Some burn problems didn't porevent me from enjoying it after today's dinner (i know it's only lunchtime for most of you guys, while I'll be going to bed in a couple of hours). Newbs - read the motto on the box and don't even come close to this Edge, it'll kick your arse hard.
Yeah Doc, we have the same weather here. Fortunately I pay someone to do the shoveling. Today I'm having a DPG El Centurion Emperadores and some Lagavulin.

Steve I can't find anyone to do the shovling. I have a 15 foot long walk and I am willing to pay $20.00 to have someone shovel it for me and nada. When I was a kid we would shovel walks all over the neighborhood for anything from 50 cents to a buck and were happy to work up a sweat.
This afternoon I have a Sungrown Double Chateau Fuente while watching NFL Pats and Jets.

I have a 500 foot driveway- had to get a blade for my rider- shoveling that much was a losing proposition! Fortunately, Cinci doesn't get too much snow too often. Vibe Corojo for me, good smoke with a bitter finish.

Tonight I had a CAO Maduro on the front porch. I couldn't take the cold temps too long so I smoked about 2/3 of a robusto and then tossed it. The cigar burnt well in the begining and then began to burn uneven towards the end of my experience.
Overall a decent cigar with good flavor...a much better experience with this cigar over the Italia I had a few years ago. Next time I try this cigar I'm going to try it indoors at a local B&M where the temps will be warmer.
Bout to have a Oliva Series V Double Toro while finishing up watching Tiger and the start of the Devils game. Later on gonna watch the G men get in the playoffs after tonight.
