Alright, so before I go through the trouble of ordering boxes, I need some place to store them. Currently, the only humidor that I own is a small 25 capacity humidor that I got free from a deal off of cigarbid early last summer. Total junk if you ask me, it never held humidity well. So, I've been looking at large humidors, because I see no need to buy a small, or even medium sized one. Below I have given the links to my choices so far. If you have something better in mind, please fill me in, otherwise if I could get some opinions from the seasoned connoisseurs, that would be most appreciated.

Hrm, the last one is not a cabinet, but it sure is damn pretty. Basically, what I am in need of is something to accommodate a fair amount of singles, and also several boxes to age as well.

Hey Ben, imho you need get the biggest one you can afford that won't end in divorce (assuming your married). If single, just buy the largest capacity for your budget. Personally I have a 200 ct humidor for my singles and 2 large capacity (30 box ct) humidors for my boxes.

You'll spend far more money in the long term if you "work your way up" in humidor size. I think most people underestimate how much this hobby entails related to space needed for cigars. I've learned the lesson the hard way by buying too many humidors thinking this is all I'd ever need, only to find out a year later it's too small and my singles and boxes need a new home.

I've seen quite a few large (2000+) capacity tower cabinets on sale for 50+% off. If I had it to do over again, I would have just dropped the $1000 on a massive tower cabinet and been done with it.

I would second what SHEEPSHEAD BAY said and check out Tampa Humidor. The Trivoli is a nice humidor that holds 300 singles and 30 boxes, and only cost $329.

I was in the same position you are. On the recommendation of ELAW, I picked up this one and I am very happy with it. I even used the "make an offer" option and got it for a little less than the asking price. (As addicting as this obsession with the leaf can be, I know I'll be needing another sooner than I think.)

now I've dealt with cheaphumidor on many occasions in the past, and their products are pretty good as well...

You also might consider a coolerdor while saving pennies for an endtable or cabinet humidor.

I use a couple desktop humidors, plus a couple of coolerdors (cost me less than $50 apiece) while I wait for a really nice endtable that's being built for me.

I have the Savoy Bubinga XL. I bought it two years ago when my other humidors became small. I think it is an excellent humidor. It holds the humidity really well, and the seal is excellent as well.

Great advice from Smartman and Minalpharetta. My goal includes similar planning.

my best friends pop has the cabinet #2 you are showing. it is a decent humi but it is not as big as it seems. this is the problem of my life! i need another very large humi so bad but i am so picky and still have yet to decide on one.

I second Tampa Bay Humidors and the Trivoli. It's around $300 and holds boxes. A lot of yours don't hold boxes except the first one which reminds me of the Trivoli so check it out and tell us what you think.
