So I was in the hot tub, enjoying an AF Hemingway Untold Story Maduro from CrazyPoet's PIF. A perfect Saturday evening - who would know it's gonna get better! My cell phone rings, but I'm not in the mood to answer calls and don't pick it up. Anyhow, after getting out of the tub I check the phone and see it was one of my good friends calling. I call him back. He goes "maan, I don't see you anywhere around here, where are you?" I'm like - here where? He - What? You're not here at the Big Smoke in Marriott? I'm like

. Turns out that being in Germany for 10 days I've missed the invitation. Aaarghh... Could I miss this event? NO WAY - I never missed one! So I get dressed as quickly as if there's fire in the house, call a taxi cab despite my protesting better half and I'm there in 15 minutes. Fortunately, didn't miss much as they started later than planned. Cuban music and dances, free brandy, whisky and wine, almost all cigar smokers of the town hanging around and schmoozing, and other fun things. All cigar retailers but two were there with tables exploding from cigar abundance... All of this kept me from kicking the arse of another close friend, who was the moderator of the event. When I asked him why didn't he tell me about this, he was like why should've I - you always know about stuff like this.
Anyway, I smoked a Monte No. 4, and finished the night with CAO Cameroon cigarillo. Had I not smoked the huge AF maduro right before, I would've had something more and better. Ah, what's done is done. I bought and brought home some Cohiba Corona Especiales, P.G. Soiree robusto (not an easy-to-get stick), and some other good stuff.
BTW, at the CAO ditributor's stand I noticed the Vision "laptop" and walked up in determination to get one for contributing to Extensioncord's famous thread

. Well, guess what; they were all gone - just the empty box sitting there. It was Epiphany though, not the Prana. I asked the price: 16+ in US$. I would've bought it certainly. Last time I saw the Vision (don't remember which one) they were asking like 2.5 times as much.
So this was my tonight's adventure - just wanted to share with you.
