Hey all, I recently smoked an Oliva MB 3 and really enjoyed it. Being a noob, I was very happy to find a smoke I really enjoyed. My question is can anyone give me their comparison of the Oliva MB 1,2, & 3. I talked to someone at my local shop who said that the MB 1 were very popular, the #2 weren't so popular, and that Oliva got back on track with the #3s. I haven't been able to find any MB1s but a shop near me still has some MB2s. Just wondering if anyone has tried all 3 & can give me their opinion. Thanks.

*Sorry if this has been addressed already but I searched and couldn't find anything comparing them

I'm not a huge Master Blends fan -- tried all three and I just don't think they justify their high pricetags (and this is coming from a guy who stopped flinching at $10+ prices a long time ago).

If you like the Master Blends, I do recommend highly that you try some other Oliva stuff because to me, it all has a distinctive character. I love the Serie G (formerly Grand Cameroon) -- an excellent, full-bodied Cameroon wrapped cigar for under $4 a stick. The Serie O is a also a nice cigar, smoother and more medium-bodied than the G for about a buck or two more. If I were you, I'd try a Serie G Double Robusto or Figurado, and a Serie O Robusto -- those should give you a feel for the line. Oliva tobacco is some of the best going and they work it extremely well.

Serie O maduro torpedo is one of my favorite everyday sticks.

They are a little firm, and draw is a little hard too, but they are full of flavor.

They don't make them anymore, but their O Bold line was great. I snagged a box off a ciagr auction site for $50 several months ago.

I am not a huge fan of the Flor de Olivia bundles, but they are reasonably priced.

I have not had an MBIII yet, but I definatly like the II's more then the I's. I honestly don't care for the ones at all and would be willing to trade away 5 or 10 of them, whatever I have left at this point.

Giggidy, giggidy... ALRIGHT!!!
