i've heard that cigar.com is actually a subsidiary of Cigars International. Is this true? I guess I would think their prices would match up a little closer if that was the case. I do notice that their catalog return addresses are similar, but I was chalking that up to the actual catalog distribution company, who may service both entities.

Just thought I'd ask the question, as I've heard both sides of this.

I always thought that Cbid and CI were connected until I had a long conversation with one of their employees. I was told that they share the same warehousing space but are owned as separate entities.

I can't speak to cigar.com, but that might be something you were mulling over as well.

Yes, Cbid and CI are related. I called Cbid about the status of an auction I won and the girl (mistakenly?) mentioned an order I had with CI. I even told her she confused me and I had to re-think who I was calling.
